The city of Karachi offers architecture across a wide range of styles. The districts of Saddar and Clifton present more modern 20th century architecture, including neo-Classical buildings such as the KPT building and the Sindh High Court. Neo and Indo-Gothic buildings are also in the city, with highlights including the Frere Hall and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Karachi is well versed in the preservation and restoration of its historical architecture, with the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture being one of the best examples of this. The city is also home to the tallest skyscraper in Pakistan, MCB Tower which stands at 116 meters in height.
