Base Rock Cafe
Located on Khayaban-e-Ittehad in DHA, this venue is visited by acts from both the mainstream and music underground. It’s a venue that promotes up and coming musicians and gives them the chance to showcase their talent in a comfortable, intimate venue. Bar Rock Café is one of the most popular venues in Pakistan to see local gigs and helped to lay the foundation for karaoke culture within the country.
The Second Floor
Also known locally as T2F – this community space is a project developed by the non-profit Peace Niche. It is a café that is designed to facilitate everything from music to discussion on social development, human rights and more. The café was developed in 2007 and includes an art gallery, bookshop, coffeehouse and conversation space.
