Islamabad – Travel Requirements

Pakistan’s Ministry Interior has recently introduced Tourist eVisa for citizens of 175 countries, making it easier for visitors to apply and receive a single-entry 30 day tourist visa. With validity upon approval of up to three months (90 days), the visa process is available online and through a variety of agencies. In order to apply, applicants will need to have the following documents:

  • Invitation letter (only if applicable to your visa type)
  • Passport personal details
  • Applicant photo
  • Proof of residents (only if applicable to your country)
  • Travel itinerary
  • Arrival and departure tickets
  • Pakistani host’s ID, including both sides (only if applicable to your visa type)
  • Bank statement
  • Hotel booking confirmation
  • Copy of any previous visa for Pakistan

It is important to note that passports must be valid for a period of six months upon application, and the eVisa is limited to several ports of entry including most major airports and sea ports within the country.
